What is Solution Focused Counseling?

Most Professional Counseling today focuses on the problems a person or family faces, often placing labels to describe the problem instead of working to get "unstuck" and freed from the present situation. Visualizing the desired outcome and working on ways to get there is the basis for "Solution Focused Counseling".

We help people to understand that "in Christ" each person is a new creation.  Scripture tells us, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come"(2 Corinthians 5: 17 ESV). In other words, we do not have to stay trapped or bound to our past. Our focus is on developing principles for getting a person back on track in their lives, marriages, or families. Finding new ways of perceiving life following the creative activity of the Spirit of God.

Bishop Kalbfleisch is the vicar of Holy Cross Anglican Chapel of Frankfort. 

Bishop Kalbfleisch earned his Bachelor degree at Liberty University in Religion and Music and earned a Licentiate of Sacred Theology and Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from the Old Catholic Franciscan School of Theology. He has been an ordained clergyman for over 14 years and involved in Christian Counseling to hurting Christians throughout his ministry.

No fee is required (though donations are always welcome)to receive counseling services from Bishop Kalbfleisch. It is available as a ministry of the parish mission of Holy Cross Chapel.
